How Could Bush Possibly See South Tower Impact on 9/11/2001?

Even if he somehow DID see Flight 11 hit the South Tower -- Bush's foreknowledge of repeated warnings about a Bin Laden strike in America should never cause a president to conclude that pilot error war the first and only cause. Surely others in the presidential entourage voiced much different opinions while they also watched the horror on TV. And aside from his glaring lack of compassion for occupants of the jet and the Tower, a more appropriate response might have been: "I got a lump in my throat when I saw the jet hit with all those "vague" warnings floating around about Bin Laden planning an attack...". When Bush saw the impact before entering the classroom, the "television" was far more likely located inside the limousine, since not one frame of the South Tower impact was broadcast until THE NEXT DAY! "We know that there were several warnings prior to the events of September 11th. People were calling in to the CIA and to the FBI volunteering critical warnings. Then, instead of allowing Congress to proceed with their investigation of accountablity in the National Security failures of 9/11, Bush placed a phone call to Majority Leader ,Senator Tom Daschle, asking him not to investigate. What does Bush have to hide? The fact is that 9/11 was the pretext for 2 illegal and extravagant wars while Bush Sr. inhabits the board of the Carlyle Group - one of the highest-level defense contractors in the world. And so we get this presidency of questionable legitimacy requesting a nearly unprecedented amount of money to go into a defense budget for defense spending that will directly benefit his father! (Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D), Georgia, 12 April 2002)
