Total Corruption Every now and then, the total corruption of the government becomes blatantly obvious. One example is the trillions of dollars (which tax payers will have to come up with) that were secretly funneled in recent months to privately owned banks to cover what in effect were reckless gambling losses. Another example, less known or appreciated, was the near total annihilation of an American city by the incompetence of the US Army Corps of Engineers. As if that weren't enough, the Corps along with the publicly funded state university system (LSU) is punishing the scientist they hired to analyze the failure...for telling the truth.
