MILITARIZATION of COLLEGE CAMPUS POLICE is HERE.
UF Graduate student, Kofi Adu-Brempong walked with a cane due to a childhood affliction with Polio. Campus police responded to a 911 complaint that Kofi was acting "delusional" as opposed to "hostile. Campus police arrived, used forced entry, applied a taser and fired a bean-bag gun. When the desired result was not "achieved", officer Kieth Smith fired on Kofi with an M4 assault rifle. One round hit Kofi in the hand and another round shattered facial and jaw bone. The bullet remains lodged near Kofi's spine, reportedly at the T3 level. Even so, Law enforcement assigned to Kofi's hospital bed required him to wear leg shackles while ambulating to the bathroom.
